I have had my GMC serviced at the dealership for several years. Service has always been good and prompt. My most recent service experience was no different. The reason I gave 3 stars is because of a lack of communication when I dropped the car off. I requested that they look at the AC even though I was there for a battery. When the car was finished, I questioned the price. I was told it was $250 for the AC diagnosis. I was not told this when I dropped the car off. Otherwise, I would not have requested it. I understand the need to charge it, but when it isn't addressed at drop off it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. That along with the fact that it's $250. Not being told about this upfront makes a 3-star rating fair in my opinion. I was only given an iPad with a blank signature line to authorize the drop off. Based on this experience it is doubtful I will return. Communicating a fee like that up front is important in the decision-making process.
